Reflexology NZ Education Standards  

Education Standards for Professional membership 

Effective from 1st July 2010


The following links are to module descriptors that collectively describe a Diploma of Reflexology that Reflexology NZ has set as its education standards for Professional membership effective from 1st July 2010. Schools and Colleges within NZ are encouraged to offer education to this standard from February 2009. Please note it is the responsibility of the student to check with the education provider of their choice that the module descriptors are being followed so they may be eligible to apply for Professional membership after graduation.

Module 1 - Foundational Reflexology Knowledge

Module 2 - Reflexology in a Clinical Setting

Module 3 - Footcare

Module 4 - Reflexology Case Studies

Module 5 - Effective Communication with clients of Reflexology

Module 6 - Ethico / Legal / Cultural Considerations

Module 7 - Business Skills

Module 8 - Human Diseases & Disorders in a Reflexology Context

Module 9 - Anatomy & Physiology
